Melanin Hair was born from a personal conviction: Afro and textured hair deserve attention worthy of their beauty. Care designed for their needs, gestures that reveal them, and an experience that celebrates their individuality.
I am Rachiratou, founder and creator of Melanin Hair. This journey began with my own hair, my expectations, and the desire to create a brand I could fully identify with.
Three years to bring my vision to life
I devoted three years to researching, learning, developing and refining my formulas. Three years spent building a routine in which every product has its place: cleansing, hydrating, nourishing, easing detangling and supporting the beauty of hair every day.
From this work came Melanin Hair, founded in 2024. An independent brand driven by one ambition: to make caring for Afro and textured hair a beauty experience that is as thoughtful as it is elegant.
